01What cookies are
A cookie is a small file that a website saves on your phone or computer. It lets the site remember things, such as your choices.
Some cookies are needed for the site to work. Others measure how the site is used. These need your consent first.
02What this website uses
This website uses no advertising cookies and no tracking for advertising.
It remembers your cookie choice in your browser. It uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits, only if you accept.
| Name | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| abr-consent (browser storage, not a cookie) | Remembers whether you accepted or refused analytics | Technical, no consent needed | Until you clear your browser data |
| _ga | Google Analytics 4: tells one visitor from another, without your name | Analytics, only if you accept | 2 years |
| _ga_ followed by an ID | Google Analytics 4: keeps track of the current visit | Analytics, only if you accept | 2 years |
Google Analytics is set up without advertising features: no Google signals and no ad personalisation.
Our booking provider, FareHarbor, may set its own cookies on its booking pages. Their cookie policy applies there: [Link to the FareHarbor cookie policy].
03How to accept, refuse or change your choice
On your first visit, a banner at the bottom of the screen asks for your choice. Accept and Reject are equally easy. Until you choose, no analytics cookie is set and nothing is sent to Google.
To change your mind, use the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. If you reject after accepting, the site stops measuring and deletes its analytics cookies.
Refusing non-technical cookies never stops you from using the site or booking.
04How to delete cookies in your browser
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The steps differ by browser:
- Chrome: Settings, Privacy and security, Cookies and other site data.
- Safari: Settings, Privacy, Manage website data.
- Firefox: Settings, Privacy and security, Cookies and site data.
- Edge: Settings, Cookies and site permissions.
If you block all cookies, some parts of the site may stop working.
