- North, north-east and east winds can make the open bay uncomfortable. A sea breeze builds from late morning.
Anchoring
Choose a clear sandy patch. The bay holds some of the largest Posidonia meadows in the Balearics, so check the bottom before you drop the anchor.
Anchoring on Posidonia seagrass is banned in the Balearic Islands (Decree 25/2018, article 7). Anchor where you can see sand. Chains must not touch the meadow.
Authorised buoys and emergencies at sea are the only exceptions.
